Overview
GCS low-voltage withdrawable switchgear (hereinafter referred to as the device) is a low-voltage withdrawable switchgear developed by the joint design team of the former Ministry of Machinery and the Ministry of Electric Power according to the requirements of the industry authorities, the majority of power users and design units, which conforms to the national conditions, has high technical performance indicators, can adapt to the development needs of the power market and can compete with the existing imported products. The device passed the appraisal jointly sponsored by the two departments in Shanghai in July 1996, and was valued and affirmed by the manufacturing units and power users.
The device is suitable for power distribution systems in power plants, petroleum, chemical, metallurgy, textiles, high-rise buildings and other industries. In large power plants, petrochemical systems and other places with high degree of automation and computer interface, it is used as a low-voltage complete power distribution device for power distribution, centralized motor control and reactive power compensation in power generation and power supply systems with three-phase AC 50(60)Hz, rated working voltage 380V, rated current 4000A and below.
The device complies with IEC439-1 and GB7251.1-97 standards.
 
Features
◆ The main frame is made of 8MF steel, and the two sides of the steel are respectively provided with medium φ9.2mm mounting holes with modulus of 20mm and 100mm, so the internal installation is flexible and convenient.
The main frame assembly form design for two, fully assembled structure and part (side frame and beam) welded structure, for users to choose.
◆ Each functional room of the device is isolated from each other, and its compartments are divided into functional unit room, bus room and cable room. The role of each chamber is relatively independent.
◆ The horizontal main bus adopts the horizontal arrangement mode behind the cabinet to enhance the ability of the bus to resist electrodynamic force, which is the basic measure to make the main circuit of the device have high short-circuit strength ability.
◆ The design of the cable compartment makes it very convenient for the cable to enter and exit up and down.

Normal use environmental conditions
◆ The ambient air temperature is not higher than 40 ℃, not lower than -5 ℃, and the average temperature within 24 hours is not higher than 35 ℃.
◆ The relative humidity does not exceed 50% at the highest temperature, and higher relative humidity is allowed at lower temperature, for example, 90% at +20 ℃, but temperature changes should be taken into account, which may accidentally produce moderate condensation.
The altitude is not more than 2000 meters.
The installation tilt does not exceed 50.

The switch cabinet has the functions of overhead incoming and outgoing lines, cable incoming and outgoing lines, bus connection, etc. Mainly suitable for power plants, substations, petrochemical, metallurgical steel rolling, light industry and textile, factories and mining enterprises and residential areas, high-rise buildings and other different places. It mainly includes high-voltage isolating switch and grounding switch, high-voltage load switch, high-voltage automatic coincidence and segmenter, high-voltage operating mechanism, high-voltage explosion-proof distribution device and high-voltage switch cabinet.

Correct Selection of Breaker Breaking Capacity
On the primary system diagram, the selected circuit breaker, indicating the circuit breaker model, rated working voltage and rated working current, must also be selected for the breaking capacity of the circuit breaker. With user drawings, the breaking capacity of the circuit breaker is not selected, which makes it difficult for the manufacturer to carry out engineering design. The breaking capacity selection should be based on the system short-circuit parameters. If the manufacturer does not understand the system short-circuit parameters, it is difficult to make the correct choice. There are also some user drawings, regardless of the system short-circuit parameters, blindly select high-break parameters, resulting in unnecessary waste of funds. The correct choice of breaking capacity is very important, not only to ensure safe operation, but also to consider reducing product costs.
