Expand the experience

This is an activity to expand in Yingcheng Tangchi, and it is also the first time that the society has participated in such a collective activity. The insights and thoughts brought to us by every outward bound training are hard to remember!

December 29, 2018. The alarm clock was set at 6 o'clock in the morning the night before, I got up early to get ready for daily necessities, gathered at the gate of the company like the big guys, boarded the bus at 8 o'clock on time and set off for Yingcheng expansion base. The owner of the company is divided into two buses. I sit on bus number 3. Mmm! The long-lost and familiar instructor appeared in front of me, thinking of the militarized management and reading career of that year. When I graduated, it seemed like I had escaped from the claws! So at the beginning of this activity, I was not excited. Maybe everyone got up very early and naturally lay on the seat and put on headphones to sleep! Originally, it only took more than two hours to drive, but it took me nearly 4 hours because the driver took the wrong way. I was still secretly pleased and did not want to face the upcoming military training expansion immediately! But it's not the same as I imagined. Oh!

The team needs a core. When we arrived at our destination, it was already 12 noon. We got off the bus and assembled the team. We simply adjusted the team at ease. We divided the team into four teams with the numbers 1,2,3 and 4. After the instructor announced the discipline rules for outward bound training, we began to divide into groups. Everyone, you and I said our thoughts one by one and supplemented each other, finally, the final captain, team name, team song and team flag were determined. This is a warm-up activity. Although they are from the same company, there are still many colleagues who do not know each other. Through this, we can enhance mutual understanding, break the suspicion between interpersonal communication, and create a harmonious team atmosphere. Instructors began to send out vests to expand their wear. Our four teams are red vests called Flower Team, yellow vests called Raptors Team, green vests called Haohi Team and Piggy Page Team with purple vests. A good team needs a core.

After the Chinese meal, the colleagues on the 3rd bus took their luggage to the room to tidy up. There was still nearly two hours of lunch break at noon, which was more relaxed and comfortable than I expected. We sat in a happy chat and shared the snacks we brought regardless of department and level!

Time passed quickly. At 2: 30 p. m., the playground gathered on time and carried out the first expansion activity, which was called "tractor dance". everyone learned it twice with the instructor. they all jumped up with the music. the laughter overshadowed the music. the originally cold winter became warmer!

Teams need trust and cooperation. This was followed by a team game called "Drumming and Bumping Ball". This project impressed me most. On the side of the big drum with 16 strings of 3m or so, a ball was placed on the top. Everyone pulled the rope and cooperated to make the ball bounce on the drum surface. At first, it was very difficult to bounce 5 times. Slowly find the trick and adjust the position of the personnel. Everyone would tighten the rope, after 10 times, 20 times, 40 times, it is getting better and better. Don't blame anyone when problems arise. Trust each other. If everyone thinks and makes progress together, the team will get better and better. An excellent team needs trust and cooperation.

The first day of expansion also came to the end. It was time for dinner and expanded all afternoon. Everyone was hungry and began to eat without talking. The company also quietly prepared a birthday cake for the birthday partners. We all blindfolded the birthday girl, turned off the lights and lit candles. The birthday girl saw all the surprises and happiness. We all sang the birthday song happily and ate the cake together! What a warm big family! After dinner, everyone also organized to go to hot springs and play mahjong. Happy day so into the dreamland!

In the morning of the next day, everyone went to the canteen for breakfast without staying in bed. I brushed my circle of friends and saw that it was snowing in Wuhan. I was very happy. I played two simple games in the morning and went to my room to pack my luggage for the return trip.

At the end of the expansion, all of us have defeated every expansion training program. We all had a great time working together. Thank you for organizing this expansion for us. I have re-acquainted every friend of the company, trusted and encouraged each other. This feeling is great!
