Release Time:2019-04-09

According to the outline of Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau Greater Bay Area's Development Plan, Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau Greater Bay Area should promote structural reform on the energy supply side, optimize energy structure and layout, and build a clean, low-carbon, safe and efficient energy supply system.
In the "Thirteenth Five-Year Plan for Energy Development in Guangdong Province" (hereinafter referred to as the "Plan"), Guangdong clearly stated that coal consumption should be strictly controlled, and the total coal consumption should be controlled within 0.175 billion tons by next year, and strive to achieve the "13th During the Five-Year Plan period, there was zero growth in coal consumption in the province and negative growth in coal consumption in the Pearl River Delta.
In the plan, solar energy is clearly required to "vigorously promote the use", requiring an increase from 850000 kilowatts in 2015 to 6 million kilowatts in 2020. Encourage all types of social entities to invest in the construction of distributed photovoltaic power generation systems and use photovoltaics to carry out poverty alleviation work.
The second phase of the Greater Bay Area Clean Energy Series will take you to understand the current situation of solar energy development in the Greater Bay Area.
